Cryptocurrency trading data is collected at 60 second intervals from Gemini.com which streams quotation data through their Application Program Interface (API) to PolyAlgo for analysis. Because the tradable cryptocurrencies are paired to the U.S. Dollar there is no interest in trading coins with less than $0.01 in movement up or down; therefore it is not necessary to examine quotation movement every second in that PolyAlgo does not seek to compete with high frequency trading programs transacting in fractional cryptocurrencies (those less than $0.01) and in large quantities of tokens. The data collection is synchronized with the standard Gemini Active Trader display update interval.
